In a remarkable feat of teamwork and dedication, 2,000 students and 200 chaperones came together to create a new world record for the longest line of coins. The event, held at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, saw participants working tirelessly for nearly six and a half hours to lay down an impressive 65-mile chain of pennies on the racetrack.
The students went above and beyond expectations, collecting over 15.8 million pennies, totaling $158,722.63. This extraordinary effort equates to nearly 188 miles of pennies in total.
