On February 14, 2014, in commemoration of its 500th event, the Calgary Speed Dating organization arranged the most extensive speed dating gathering worldwide. Taking place at the Telus Spark Science Centre in Calgary, 651 eager participants engaged in 20 rounds of 3-minute encounters each, with the aspiration of setting a new record and, perhaps, discovering love along the way.
